DNF for Legia; 4th for Kubica

Legia Match Called
Yet another black mark for Polish soccer and its fans after Legia fans vandalized their opponents' stadium after watching their team go into the break trailing 2-0 in the first leg of their Intertoto match. Combined with the corruption scandals of last season, this is certainly not helping the situation in Poland.

Legia is likely done in the Intertoto Cup, and perhaps even future cups, at least, for a while.

Janczyk Interest Growing
Janczyk's coming out party is taking place in Canada while he showcases and makes fools out of his competitors. Many teams have been taking notice, including clubs from England and Russia - with CSKA offering 4 million Euros for him. However, it is said Legia want in the area of 6 million for him, which may not be so far fetched if he keeps up his play at the U20s.

Kubica Finishes 4th in Britain
Robert Kubica in his second straight race since his horrific accident has for the second straight time finished in 4th place after starting 5th from the grid. Kubica sits in 6th spot in the driver standings, 11 back of teammate Nick Heidfeld.
